O’Kelly Chapel offers a charming and versatile space for a wide array of special occasions. Its intimate atmosphere and historic elegance make it an ideal setting for holiday gatherings, meaningful anniversaries, milestone birthdays, memorials, holiday parties and other non-wedding personal celebrations. The unique character of the chapel provides a beautiful backdrop, ensuring every event held within its walls feels personal, cherished, and truly unforgettable.

Whether you’re planning a cozy holiday party, a heartfelt vow renewal, or an anniversary celebration surrounded by loved ones, our chapel offers the perfect balance of intimacy and elegance. The warm character of the chapel, paired with its timeless architecture, creates a setting that feels both personal and significant.

Please note: This package is designed for non-wedding gatherings. Weddings, elopements, and vow renewals must be booked through our Wedding or Ceremony-Only packages.

What We Offer

  • Four hours of exclusive use of our beautifully-restored chapel and its serene outdoor space with spacious turf lawn for you and your guests to enjoy.
  • Onsite parking           
  • Setup and breakdown of guest seating for your team and any of the tables in our inventory (6’ and 8’ banquet tables, and 5’ round tables).
  • Basic A/V, including a large flat-screen TV with hookups; sound system, microphone, and Bose speaker are available for streaming personal playlists from your phone.
  • Restrooms are available and located off the outdoor turf area.  In the event of rain, OKC staff will provide four umbrellas for your guests to access the restrooms.

I would like to have the chapel longer than four hours, can we make arrangements?

Yes, subject to availability, you may extend your chapel use in two-hour increments at a rate of $250 per additional two-hour block. Please inquire about availability when booking your event or as soon as possible to ensure we can accommodate your request.

 To ensure the highest quality of service and a seamless event experience, all food and beverage service at O’Kelly Chapel must be provided by one of our preferred catering partners. These vendors are carefully selected for their excellence in cuisine, professionalism, and ability to deliver exceptional events in our space.

We also value and celebrate diversity of our clients and their traditions. If you would like to work with a caterer that reflects your cultural or ethnic background and is not on our preferred list, we are happy to review and accommodate these requests on a case-by-case basis. 

Yes, we do.  A handicap-accessible pad is situated behind the chapel, featuring a ramp for convenient side entry. Onsite chapel parking is available in close proximity, and an OKC staff member can provide golf cart transportation from the Garden Center parking lot to the chapel for those requiring assistance.

Yes, you may bring your own table linens and decorations. We kindly ask that all decor aligns with the historic and tasteful ambiance of O’Kelly Chapel. To maintain the integrity and aesthetic of our cherished venue, we do not permit items such as balloons or other decor that may be deemed questionable or tasteless. We appreciate your cooperation in preserving the chapel’s unique character.

Due to the historic nature of O’Kelly Chapel and its preserved wood interior, open flames and candles are not permitted within the building or on the property. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain the chapel’s integrity for future generations.  Battery-operated candles are permitted for ambiance.
