Onsite chapel parking is available in close proximity, and an OKC staff member can provide golf cart transportation from the Garden Center parking lot to the chapel for those requiring assistance.
Are we allowed to have spirits served at our event?

To preserve the historic integrity and unique ambiance of O’Kelly Chapel, we kindly request that balloons not be brought into the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the chapel’s special character.

I would like to have candles in the chapel and on tables. Is this acceptable?
Due to the historic nature of O’Kelly Chapel and its preserved wood interior, open flames and candles are not permitted within the building or on the property. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain the chapel’s integrity for future generations. Battery-operated candles are permitted for ambiance.
Am I allowed to smoke on the property?
For the comfort and safety of all guests and to preserve the historic integrity of O’Kelly Chapel, smoking and/or drug use is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, including all indoor and outdoor areas to avoid fire hazard. We appreciate your cooperation.
What if we have an issue during the event itself?
An O’Kelly Chapel staff member will be on-site before, during, and after your event to answer any questions, provide assistance, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Am I allowed to hang up my decorations in the chapel?
To preserve the historic integrity of O’Kelly Chapel, decorations may not be hung on or affixed to the walls, windows, or pews. We kindly ask that no nails, tacks, tape, or other materials that could cause damage be used. Freestanding décor, aisle accents, and floral arrangements are welcome, and our team is happy to help you explore creative ways to style the space without impacting its historic features.
Are photographers allowed?
Yes, photographers are welcome on the property. While we do not supply a photographer, we will gladly work with your chosen professional to ensure they have what they need to capture your day beautifully. We’re also happy to provide recommendations and additional details upon request.
Are tables and chairs included?
Yes, guest seating and tables are provided based on your event’s needs. Set up and tear down will handled by our team but you will be responsible for any mess during the event.
Can we set up a tent in the yard?
YES, however, no stakes are allowed in the faux grass. Use weights, if needed

Is your venue dog-friendly?

Is there parking available on site?
Yes. We have limited parking available directly behind O’Kelly Chapel for convenience. Additional guest parking is available at our sister business, For Garden’s Sake, located just a short walk from the chapel. Clear signage will be provided on the day of your event to help guide guests.
Is the chapel climate-controlled (heating/air conditioning)?
Yes, O’Kelly Chapel is fully climate-controlled with both heating and air conditioning, ensuring comfort for you and your guests in every season.
