We have free on-site parking at the Chapel, and at For Garden’s Sake next door. 

There is one accessible parking spot at the Chapel, and a ramp for those with mobility issues. 

There is a second accessible parking spot at For Garden’s Sake; and the garden center staff are available for golf cart transportation to the Chapel.

We have a variety of houseplants and gifts available for sale in the Chapel, including some products made by local artists.

O’Kelly Chapel is owned by For Garden’s Sake, LLC and is located on the same grounds as the garden center. 

You can park at one and walk to the other via a gravel path that connects the two areas; or walk through the Deep Shade section at For Garden’s Sake to reach the Chapel. 

Leashed pets are welcome on the paths and lawns at the Chapel. We do not allow dogs or other pets inside the Chapel. Dog waste can damage the artifical turf so please keep an eye on your pet for us. We try to keep our spaces clean so everyone can enjoy who visits!

The only exception is a service dog, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. 

The Chapel’s GPS address is 9245 NC-751, Durham, NC 27713.

The driveway is open during business hours; and is located just outside the intersection of NC-751 and O’Kelly Chapel Rd. 

Driving from Southpoint in Durham, the Chapel’s driveway is just before you reach this intersection. 

The Chapel has been converted into part retail, part gathering space with comfortable lounge seating —  perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine while you shop the Chapel and neighboring For Garden’s Sake.

We also host intimate wedding ceremonies; and smaller industry events like tastings, book readings, and workshops.

We have a variety of beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages for sale, including coffee. Light snacks are also available for purchase.

O’Kelly Chapel is the perfect location for family, engagement, and bridal portraits. We have many beautiful backdrops both inside and outside to capture your special moment.

Professional photography does require advanced scheduling and a paid permit.
